Advent Resources 2023
We are called to Ignatian contemplation and reflective prayer to encourage us during the season of Advent.
Jesuit Prayer – Receive the daily Scripture reading, an Ignatian reflection, and a short prayer each day through the app, on the website, or by signing up for the daily email. We also offer personal responses to prayer requests. All are remembered in Masses celebrated by the Jesuits.
Women’s Advent Retreat – In the Spiritual Exercises, we are challenged to attend to the movements in our soul. Feelings offer direction. Feelings over time begin to prompt us to God’s movement. This Advent season, our world seems to hold its breath… we await the Christ Child in possibility and potential: of peace/war, of hope/loss, of love/fear. Receive a weekly reflection for your own personal retreat, presented by women from the Midwest province.
Advent Reflections from Office of Ignatian Spirituality – Prepare for the coming of Christ with weekly audio reflections written by young adults.
Advent Simplicity Challenge – Join Ignatian Solidarity Network for daily challenges for ways to live simply during this season.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Vigils– Join Ignatian Solidarity Network and partners from December 1-12 as we stand in solidarity with our migrant sisters and brothers.
Finding God in the Christmas Prep – Receive daily reflections from Ignatian writers on annual traditions they look to in order to prepare for Christmas, presented by the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States.
