Daily Lenten Prayer Intentions – Daily Lenten prayer intentions accompanied by reflections on Lent written by Midwest Jesuits.
Self-Guided Lenten Retreat –Nine Jesuit priests from Midwest Jesuits’ retreat ministries share reflections
on Lent. Make a virtual retreat with their words and pictures from the retreat houses.
Midwest Jesuits Way of the Cross – Reflections on the 14 Stations of the Cross written by Jesuits and lay colleagues from the Midwest Province. Available in written or audio format.
Jesuit Prayer – Receive the daily Scripture reading, an Ignatian reflection, and a short prayer each day through the app, on the website, or by signing up for the daily email. You may also submit a prayer request; all are remembered in Masses celebrated by the Jesuits.
Lenten Audio Reflections – Sign up to receive weekly podcasts by email, offered by the Office of Ignatian Spirituality. The reflections are written by young adult members of the Contemplative Leaders in Action program.
Traveling the Landscape of Lent – Every week, a new voice from our Jesuit community of Ignatian writers will guide you along the Lenten journey, sharing stories and reflections from their own experiences of encountering God in places similar to those found in the Gospel stories.
2024 Lenten Retreat: Finding and Cultivating Hope in Difficult Times – The Gregorian University Foundation will be offering a complimentary virtual guided retreat extended over the six weeks of Lent. The two talks per week, with reflections drawn from the Gospel and personal experiences, offer participants inspiration, motives, and practices for finding and cultivating hope this Lenten season.
The Life of Jesus Lenten Read-Along – This annual Lenten read-along with Loyola Press features The Life of Jesus by Andrea Tornielli. The reading schedule is available at the link. Readers are invited to post thoughts, favorite quotes, or reactions with #lentreadalong on social media.
Beauty in the Desert: An Ignatian Lenten Offering – This Lent, the Jesuit Conference is inviting Ignatian writers to meditate upon a poem and a song that inspires them during this season. Art, we believe, helps us deepen our understanding of God in our world and our lives. Sign Up to receive weekly emails.
An Ignatian Prayer Adventure – Join in an adapted version of the Spiritual Exercises, perfectly timed as a Lent and Easter retreat. Materials are modified from the longer retreat in The Ignatian Adventure by Kevin O’Brien, SJ. This year Fr.
