The Ignatian Legacy Fellows (ILF) are proud to reopen a Peruvian community kitchen in 2022 in honor of Fr. Michael Garanzini, SJ. Each cohort of the ILF program will visit the community kitchen during future visits to Peru. ILF hopes that this gift will inspire others to support the kitchen. 

Father Michael Garanzini says, “I told them that the son of a restaurant family could not have a higher honor than having a kitchen with his name on it. And, as a Jesuit, the honor could not be greater than for a kitchen where everyone being fed is poor. I may ask if I can wait tables.”
